Where have i been?
long gone from my blog...well rested for the whole week. just to have a sneak peak in my blog to publicize the fact that i am still alive despite the cold weather and bizarre tests and assignments.
so yup currently is my 2nd week in my brand new house and i have yet to upload any pictures on my new fuzzy home. apologies on that but i promise i shall blog about my house soon after my chemistry exam this evening.
people always claimed that brisbane is hot hot hot pretty much like an equatorial country but trust me that is a pure crap statement cause i am currently freezing to death.
the weird thing in brisbane it looks sunny with sun shining into your room but the moment you stepped out from the house the strong cold wind could possibly frozed you on the spot and because of the unpredictable weather, i always dressed wrongly.
when it was hot, i wore jeans and when it was cold, i wore shorts. finally i made up my mind to wear both the jeans and hoddie because i can never get wrong with a combo of two. lol.
so just a brief update on me before i head for my so called chemistry test. please do not take chemistry. it really sucks with so many things to learn and squeeze into my small brain.
xoxo,
the frozen shen
but
finally i can flashed my smile again about my accomodation.
smile smile smile shen.
a fire inspection has been done on our house recently and according to the new regulation legalised by the city council, a house can only have 5 residents to the maximum. However, the house i am currently residing in has 9 people including all the three units which is utterly against the law. Unfortunately, the three of us are asked to leave the house.
at that moment, i realised i became mature so much that i learnt to be independent in so many ways. compared to friends in Melbourne or other places, i believed that i learnt so many things from being accepted and rejection.
trust me the whole process of finding a house was solely done by us, the three girls only.
how proud am i of myself.
though the house is small, but it is filled with memories and warmness.
i will miss my bed, my table, the kitchen and even the toilet with creepy mushrooms growing in it. everything seems so surreal that it is only two months and i actually miss that home.
please please please. i am truly tired of finding another home.
simple.
we were just cam-whoring in our rooms for the last time.
we had so many idiotic ideas of taking pictures from changing our hairstyles to posing with our teddies.
forgive us if you feel that our pictures are totally absurd.
we are just plain janes who finally can settled down.
for everyone claimed that i looked mature and even older than my sis. =(
no way.
i am four years younger than my sister.
jie jie, faster grow up please to reduce the misconceptions among people.
thanks.
wakakaka.
kidding.
my housemates are great people who care for me.
may the new house will be a blessing in disguise!
may everything shall be settled for now.
may i sleep soundly at night too.
thank you.
xoxo,
the happy kid shen.

The three experienced tour guides of Brisbane - Shen, Xiang and Koo.as proclaimed by my dear jie jie, Shir Li. yeap she is here in Brisbane a week ago and i sincerely thanked all my friends for bringing her around especially Chong Hao for introducing all those yummylicious food especially that steaming hot pot Korean cusine. Woohoo.. sis was whole week in brisbane which is equivalent to a whole week of SUPERB FOOD.
i had a great time with my sis. i bet she did and my friends too. we love you to pieces. do visit us again.
i had never really wrote about Brisbane in my blog so say hello to a brief introduction of Brisbane thanks to the pictures taken by my sis.so that picture above is the view of Brisbane city. The blue building is the library while the brown one beside it is the Treasury Building. The yellow bridge connects to South Bank, the place i loved most. starts to love Brisbane? I DO.
here comes the famous city cat @ ferry that is well loved by my dear roommate. a city cat addict in fact. but i do love city cat too.
a better picture of our favourite transportation in Brisbane. but don't worry Brisbane do still have buses and taxis.
say aloha to South Bank my favourite town in the whole Brisbane. South Bank is an ideal laid back place for family and friends where they have man-made beaches, public swimming pools, park, wheel of Brisbane...simply everything there are lovely.
South Bank has street performances too like those kinds of magic shows and stunt shows where all kids love it even a pre-adult like me loves it too and South Bank has cinemas too, trust me for only AUS 5.50 you can watch a movie. i believe watching movie in Brisbane is the cheapest.
Batavia, our favourite coffee shop. lovely atmosphere with some many antique displays and tantalizing coffee drinks. i love it to pieces.
though at times we have to wait for a pretty long time to get a place to dine in Batavia, it is really worth it. trust me on that. Koo's face tells it all. yummy and happy.
Wheel of Brisbane.
we did some spontaneous decision and decided to take a ride on it. AUS 15 for a ride is way cheaper than in Melbourne. everything in Brisbane is definitely affordable. glad i am studying here in Brisby.
that's us in the Wheel of Brisbane. less scarier than Eyes of Malaysia but definitely a more magnificent view than Malaysia. from this wheel, we get to see the City of Brisbane, Brisbane river, all those bridges and even sun set. how cool is that?
and that's when i had my first taste of Cascade beer in West End, introduced by my jie jie. i do trust her taste in this kind of stuffs. lol don't worry it is only 0.8% alcohol. nobody gets drunk with that amount not even a noob drinker like me.
i proudly present my majestic University of Queensland to my sister. she is pretty amazed with my uni though. i love my uni. so does she. lol
at the entrance to the Great court, every students' favourite hang out place. i love great court so much that i can just lay there and sleep for the whole evening. mushy grasses.
is just laughed upon our childishness. it is not wrong to be kid sometimes. it is a way for us to release stress and tension. For instance, sharing a box of ice cream at Gold Coast. ice-cream tastes so much sweeter when it is being shared.
that's the first pic i took with my sis just a few hours after she arrived at Brisbane. don't we look alike? that us in front of Treasury Casino in Brisbane Citythat's where i bought my orange nike shoes. i shall blog about my buying soon. huhu that will prove my addiction into colours lately.
us in front of Q-Deck, Observation Deck. the tallest residential building in Australia near the beach.that's how i spend for the first 5 days of my easter Holidays by having my sister within my group of friends. i am glad that they mingle well with one another and i do love to have my sis back in Brisbane again. do visit us again and again! we won't get bored of cool people like you! love ya!
xoxo,
the happy shen.
i am abandoning my blog currently.
koo's birthday was ages ago but i had not blog a single thing about the celebration.
apologies for reporting it late especially to dear mary anne.
i know you have been waiting for this post pretty long.

busy messaging who ever it would be. lol
scream out loud.
finally i can do that.
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....
after a whole horrendous week of the fear of being homeless,
i can finally feel relieved and settled.
and though i cried from time to time or inhale my anger from exploding,
i have learnt to be more mature and independent.
and that will make me a better person in the future.
i can't wait to move into my new house at indooroopilly and starts a new chapter of my life again.
till then,
i shall be blogging from my new bed and new house.
xoxo,
the no more frustrated shen.
bad weather bad day. emo weather emo blogger. how miserable could that be.it had been raining for the past couple of days over here in brisbane and it never stops. it drips and drips continously. winds were strong and if i have eaten lesser, i could have possibly been blown away by the hungry wind. omg this is so descriptive. i can't remember when was the last time i wrote such a dramatic post. well, i being descriptive currently for i had a bad week.
you had a bad day, the camera don't lie,
you're coming back down, and you really don't mind,
you had a bad day.
you had a bad day.
i been spending pretty much of money lately for the rainy weather makes me hungry fast and the rate of consumption of food in my kitchen reduce rapidly. and i bought koo's birthday present online and it had yet to arrive which really worries me out. i hope to suprise her on her birthday itself but looks like it is gonna be another lame boring belated present. and with extensive classes and tests lately, it is driving me crazy. imagine me leaving the house for classes at 8 in the morning and my last class ends at 8 in the night. how sorry you are for me. hahahaha..
and all of the sudden i had homesick. i miss my family and my home back in malacca. i miss all those foods at there and all my friends back there. i miss malaysians tv shows, malaysia advertisments and even the malaysia newspapers. i miss looking at the packed road during evening and the late night mamak stalls. i miss not cooking at all and just enjoying the food. hahaha i miss malaysia.
but i know all those sorrow moments i am having right now shall be over soon cause i choose it to be destined that way. i want to enjoy my days in brisbane, and perhaps start to love the raining days too though my clothes remain wet, drenched in rain. and though i have to go through the ordeal to use a hairdryer to blow dry my wet shoes. i pray for good luck and blessings to come and i know my prayers will be answered soon.Chronicles of Me
