forget about batman, superman, spider man, flash and wonder woman.
because my super hero is now officially
the Queensland Fire fighters.
as i woke up this morning and entered the bathroom to brush my teeth, i was stuck in the bathroom. i screamed to wake my room mate who is still sleeping. thankfully she wasn't in deep sleep and together with my other house mate, the both of them tried to save me but in vain.
i was dying in hunger in the bathroom for i had not taken my breakfast. lol i know i should be worrying of other things but i could only think of food at that time.
after much effort, both of them decided to call the fire department and in a few minutes later, four firemen came to rescue me. AND I MUST SAY those firemen are just so BOOM BOOM POW!
muscular, hunk, huge, strong, big, hot, charming, handsome... what more can i say.
they even helped to repaired my faulty door.
and
i knew they are my Superhero. HAHAHA..
so that's my experience living in the bathroom for about 30 to 45 minutes in hunger. lol.
as i was chatting with one of my friends back in Malacca yesterday, she told me that she was afraid that i might forget all of them back home because i have a great bunch of friends in Brisbane.
I was mortified.
perhaps i had not been keeping in touch with them very often that they might felt left out in my life.
i am writing this post now to let you guys know how much you guys changed my life.
though i have a great bunch of friends over here,
YOU GUYS ARE JUST YOU GUYS.
when i had the opportunity to skip from Standard 3 to Standard 5, i wasn't really having the best time in my life. when i entered standard 5 and 6, i was still timid for friends at those time disliked me. i still could remember when i received 'surat layang' from my classmates telling me that i should leave their class and i was an intruder. that particular 'surat layang' created a huge havoc in the principal office and my home. that was when i was in standard 5. when i was in standard 6, one of my classmates stole my very precious autograph book which i took ages to get it done. even after 9 years later, i still could not figure out who did those two evil things to me. but some things are just meant not to be known.
when i was in form one, i felt even more scared when i was placed in 1 Biru, the second last class in my whole form. at that time, i really detest the way the school placed the students randomly in any classes. and at that time, my class was beside 1 Jingga. the class which jyi and darlynn were in it. i really disliked that class for no particular reasons. hahahaa.. please don't ask me why.
and finally i was in 2 merah, the first class.
i was placed in a class with students i hardly known at all.
time flies and till i was in form 4 where i met my true friends.
and in form 5, that was the best part of my school life.
sitting beside jyi who is freaking genius in math and physics, definitely made my life so much easier. and getting to know li lin who has these cute gestures when she was angry and siang with the HUGE HUGE LOUD laugh that makes everyone laugh too. and there goes luah and lynna, the two with similar height who sat in front of me and who always urged us to pass up our books. and behind me, was pin and cheryl who always complain they can't see the board.
and eunice who sat right at the end of the class who was so emo when Germany lost in the semifinals in the world cup. and yuin yi sitting beside me who was always sleeping during lessons. i remember everything so well because those images are just not meant to be forgotten.
xoxo,
shen.

anyway, I CHANGED MOST YOUR PICUTRES at the corner of my blog.
HORRIFIED?
people changes as they grow,
prettier and more refined perhaps and my blog should be updated with your good looks,
and i should not be displaying the ugly sides of my buddies..
er no not a sarcasm.
lol.
just check your faces at the corner of my blog. apology if that picture doesn't happen to be the best of you.
warm hugs,
shen.

after spending the whole morning in harbour town ( the so called shopping paradise which i absolutely disagreed for i BOUGHT NOTHING from there), we left for surfers paradise as the dark clouds started to form on the blue sky.it must have been the craziest and the most spontaneous plan we ever made to visit Surfers Paradise during winter.
holy crap! we are out of mind.
those Crystal blue sea greeted us definitely reassured us that our decision of coming there was right.despite the strong waves on that day and cold freezing weather, we spotted people swimming and surfing.
but still no NAKED babes unfortunately. no sun, no sunbathing definitely.
playing around with the golden soft sand, comparing who can stand without sinking into the wet sand.
the wind was extremely strong on that day.the seagulls could not even soar into the sky.
every single time when they tried to fly, they will remain in the same position, flapping their wings with difficulty.
photographers flashed their cameras out to capture every single moment of those.
beautiful.
me and him peeking into the blue sky and sea.is this the first picture of us together in my blog? uh oh.
Dear Australia Zoo ( one of the most pretigous zoo in australia),yes i have visited you.
You did not really WOW me in the begining with all those marsupials even though they are rare in the world. Perhaps the small sizes of those animals weren't really a wow at first sight unlike those zoos back in Malaysia which are loaded with Hippotamus, orang utans, giraffes - those big big huge huge animals that amaze those kids.
but australia zoo definitely exposed me to different kind of animals found in the world...more precisely australia alone.
*
*
*
and
the most adorable creature i have seen on that day was
*
*
*
myself.
wakkakaka.
yeah to friends who call me piglet, those are only piglets and i don't look any much similiar to them.
and that's me.I do not have any resemblances to those three little piglets.
hahaha...
understand??? lol.
we arrived at australia zoo pretty early but the journey to sunshine coast took us nearly two hours. we left two of our friends behind and they had to take the later train. initially, we were TOTALLY CRAZY for approaching the counter without even preparing a single cash or counting the money in our debit card. we were totally ashamed when we realised we were out of money for all our cash were in those two latecomers' hands.
shen got overexcited with those adorable mek-mek sounds produced by those lambs.I MISS YOU MARY ANNE!!! mek mek. i spotted you in australia zoo.
what an honour. lol.
koala could be possibly one of the laziest animal on earth, requiring 20 hours of sleep per daybut when they are awake, they could be possibly the cutest animal on earth for sure.

MY FAVOURITE ANIMAL OF ALL!
the most adorable animal on earth.
MR WOMBAT!!
yes you might be fat.
yes you might have big butt ( just like me)
yes you might be dull in colour.
yes you might be round.
yes you might have rough skin too.
but
no matter how your appearance are,
you still remained as the cutest marsupial on earth.

exhausted friends dozing off in the train on our journey back to roma street.
there were still many more animals in the zoo with tiger island, elephatansia, red pandas, mangarove island and etc, but the laziness of me had gotten the most of me. uploading pictures into your blog can be pretty tiring at times. pardon me for that.
but australia zoo trip was definitely a worthwhile experience and exposure on maruspials.
xoxo,
the wombatty shen.
some kind of intec reunion occurred in brisbane recently.yes all of us from all over the places reunited in gold coast.
friends from melbourne, canberra, and auckland.
yes they are here.
beaming happily.
the magnificent beauty of gold coast.why is there is no university in gold coast for i shall choose to study there?
if i have a choice to live in either gold coast or in brisbane, i would definitely opt for gold coast.
hippier and merrier.
surfers paradise is indeed a paradise.long stretch beaches with fine sands and flooded with people despite it was winter.
the water was luke warm and crystal blue.
now i knew the reason for the popularity of this beach in australia.
unfortunately for the guys, they did not spotted any naked women. well, surfers paradise is always claimed to be flooded with hot babes. maybe they should return again during summer.perhaps their eyes might land on one.
we embarked on the whale watching cruise and off we go.vroom vroom vroom....... ~_~
beautiful view of helenslave town definitely.
gold coast is always fulled with yatches which is pretty amazing as yatches always a signature of richness...may i own one in the future? they look really cool
the first sight of the whales.we spotted approximately four to fives whales on that day.
call us lucky.
yes we are.
whales are elegant mammals. the way they swap their tails are mesmerizing and the way they made the 360 degrees flip on air is a wow wow.triple wow.
thanks to yeong fatt's camera and his photography skills, he caught amazing pictures of the whales.we are pretty luck for the whales swam near our boat and they even did the flip turn in just a few inches away from our boat.
close up view was really amazing!
these are seriously pictures taken by ourselves.the whale was huge and huge.
and their flippers are huge
and their tails too.
they have pretty long mouth i shall say.
check out the elegance of the whale's body. amazing.and also the crystal blue ocean.
we were in the middle of no where.
and the wind was so so so strong that we could not even stand properly on the boat.
our groupie picture before disembarking our journey developed by the management people.a beautiful picture of us definitely.
on our way back to shore, the sunset was picturesque, when the sun met the horizon..... after those orange yellow red sky we were entertained with blue purple green sky.wow. surprisingly gold coast is cloudless as a matter of fact.
shall be blogging about MY BEST TRIP to dreamworld soon.
rides are thrilling with short waiting and great weather.
a perfect trip to gold coast.
xoxo,
the beachy shen.
ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!our super delicious steamboat.
king prawns, tiger prawns, shark meat, scallops, musselss, dory firshes, hotdogs, chicken fillets, meehoon, egg noddles, spinachs, lettuce..
what a feast!
celebration for the exam freedom
we had two rice cookers with two different soup bases - tom yum and chicken soup.it took ages for the soup to boil in rice cooker.
but we waited patiently by cam-whoring. =)
hola long life updates finally..hahaha29/06/09 - we went seaworld!!!! using the ticket we bought a few months back (those promotional tickets for three theme parks)
most of my aussie friends told me that seaworld is boring and boring and boring so i never ever thought of going there. plus it is one of the furthest worlds in gold coast.
but somehow we went too..
and
that was something we did not regret (perhaps for people like us , those who enjoyed watching animals)

being one of the largest world among the movieworld and wet and wild, seaworld definitely requires lots of walking from one end to the other end.
unfortunately, it was packed with many families with babies in prams.
err i don't consider that as unfortunate for i adore those "ah mohs'" babies.
they are so so so chubby, rosy cheeks and cuddly with sparkling blue eyes.
in short, seaworld might be more ideal for the young kids with families.so for that reason i guessed young adults like us prefer thriller excitements in movieworld.
call me childish or what so ever.my friends claimed this is one of the most boring show they had seen in seaworld.
THAT'S SO NOT FREAKINNG TRUE!
elmo is so so so so cute
and
THE MOST POPULAR ONE TOO
whom received the most cheers from those kids when elmo appeared on stage. ( plus my cheer of course)
elmo dances too.shake ur bum bum..huhu.
cutie pie isn't he?
wait a minute after 18 years, i still could not figure out whether elmo is a guy or girl.
sliding down through the slide.i have no idea how emelia could take this picture.hahaha
our faces.
errr..
.
.
.
priceless??
getting off the boat with me winning the award for being the wettest among all six.well that's the consequences for sitting in front.
but hell not i enjoyed it.
mr huge stingray.all my friends succeeded in touching it except for me.
SO UNFAIR!!!!
the consequences for having short hands.

the australia only roller coaster ride with THREE LOOPS!!! i could not even stand properly after sitting those ride.
imbalance fluid in my body.
so if you are someone like me, you will definitely have loads of fun visiting seaworld.i love watching those creatures swimming around, playing around and cuddling around.
they are adorable. yes they are.
till then, i shall be enjoying my holidays to the most till the most feared day in my life 8th july 2009 ( the release of my utterly terrible exam results).
xoxo,
the kiddy shen.
