Life is simply ironic, doesn't it? Sometimes now matter how hard you work for it, if it's never meant to be yours..it will never be. Parents tought us that we should always work hard to achieve our dreams but sometimes no matter how much effort you put it, it will never come to you and sometimes when you hardly do anything, it just comes to you easily. Yeah, sucks but that's the reality that life is full of unfairness. In fact, I'm so getting used to it.

In fairy tales, there are characters that live "happily" ever after but that doesn't work in real life. Reality check. My sister disliked me being sad, down or tattered. But I'm so lost with the things I want in my life right now. I always felt that something important is missing in my life and probably I was just trying too hard to seek for a certain ideal life which rarely exist.

Dissatisfaction with life isn't a big deal, right? In fact it's just a matter of how a person looks into their life. I should probably learn to look at the big picture and learn to realize that things may not be perfect, but they are simply wonderful. Appreciation, simplicity and satisfaction are what I should cultivate in my inner self. And true happiness too.

And there's always someone out there who loves me a lot.

Whom adore me for who I am.

so what's there not to be happy with life, right?

For the past 21 years, I wondered over my existence in this world. Is it merely a burden? What's the main point of living in this world? Is it all about chasing after your dreams (living in a huge house with a six figure salary, driving the most posh car and dressing up in the best wardrobe range ever?) or is it just about attaining happiness from the simplest thing in life (driving kids to school, eating the most delicious food ever and doing things that you enjoy most in your life)? Chasing after your dreams does not guarantee happiness and likewise, happiness is temporary only. So tell me what is the purpose of choosing either one when both do not seem to guarantee anything at all?

For those who claim kpop songs are trash, then you're probably missing out one of the best-produced songs ever. I admit the fact that I listen to kpop songs most of the time, preferably those by male bands or male solo artist (sadly female voices especially those cutesy/ high pitched ones do not work well on me- totally hate it) and I am total sucker for korean slow and dandy raps, which I totally totally totally adore it. Hence, my best of 2011 definitely has a rap inserted somewhere within the song and I quoted some lines from the song too. Despite my dislike listening to female songs, Baby Soul's No better than strangers and Going Crazy (Song ji eun) stood high in my list, defeating all the other male songs.

Apart from all the songs listed above, there's one particular song that will always remain special in my heart because I am exactly the kind of person, described by the song. Cold from the outside and finds it extremely difficult to express my love to someone including my own parents/family even though I treasured them more than anything in my life. "I love you" is not a term that you will listen from me but I do love everyone that's part of my life tremendously. So yes mum, dad, sis and friends, I treasure you a lot!

I ditched my long-established blog for varied reasons, either i am tired of it or hate the fact that

too many people knew about my blog. Despite many years back I would have forked all the way

out to publicize my blog, I would not do it now. I grew up. Back then, all I wanted to be was popular, to be known, to be pretty, to be the one and only one. Those days when i wanted to be everything that everyone wanted to be. Back then, I thought life was all about being popular and getting recognized from people. But surprisingly as i grew up, I begin to hide under my shell, isolating myself from the outside and keep hidden secrets within myself. I find it difficult to express what I hold beneath my heart and felt alone occasionally. I wasn't a special person and wasn't someone's special too. My life is plain boring, revolving around myself only. And as i grew up, I realized I was more complex than ever. Was it just a part of growing up? Or just the something that was only found in me? Right now, all I want in my life is to do the things that I

always wanted to do and care less of others' opinions on me.I may not be awesome but I can never change who I am.

and probably one day, I will be a superhero in myself.

i refuse to believe the fact that i was back in Brisbane for a month already.

and for a month, i abandoned my blog.

i am not sure if i am glad to be back in Brisbane but I miss my parents and my sister dearly.

It feels different not having them by my side, not eating proper meal and not commuting by car any longer.

I am usually reminded that there is sunshine after rain....and after a storm, the sun will shine again. It may take a few minutes later, a few hours or even a few days but it will happen eventually. I might be seeing my sunshine soon for everything went pretty well lately. Despite the occasional ups and downs, I am handling it way better than before, for experiences make a person wiser.

I know my parents are checking my blog regularly and earnestly waiting for my updates. They aren't using skype and I couldn't see them visually for 9 months. It sucks and i miss their faces badly. So, here I am, back in my Blog.. stuffing as much pictures as possible to let them know I am doing great here. So worry less about me and be healthy back home.

In fact, in three words, I can sum up everything about my life: "It goes on"

i am flying back to Brisbane tonight.

it had been 3 months since I was back in early December.

i came home with the feeling of betrayal, lost and skeptical of everyone around me.

But after 3 months, i am leaving home today as a new person with the trust build by my family and friends. A friend is indeed one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself.

my summer break in Malaysia began with a 3 days 2 nights trip to KL. it was so short and brief that I earnestly yearned for a longer trip with them. During that brief period, my mind was free from worries and laughter didn't seem fake at all. Sincerity brought the joy in friendship.

despite being so drenched out from the earlier KL trip, we challenged our bodies for a cycling trip in the forest. Though we wasn't exactly cycling due to exhaustion, I knew I was having one the best time of my life. I learnt that best friends are like diamonds, precious and rare while false friends are like leaves, found everywhere.

I met with my childhood best friend and I knew her since I was standard one. Both of us skipped Standard Four together and that's how our friendship blossomed. I couldn't agree more that the best antiques are old friends.

There is nothing half so pleasant as coming home again. Words could never described the comfort of seeing your parents and sister. Those familiar faces assured you that you are safe and well taken care of. Home is where the house is.

My dear sister who is a friend and defender of mine. A listener, a counselor and a sharer of delights and sorrows too. And seriously, the best thing about having a sister was that I always had a friend and I was never left alone.

No matter how far you proceeded from your starting point, the heart still misses the beginning of everything. Though we left school for nearly 5 years already, the familiarity never changed from the ringing sound of the school bell to the teachers who taught us.

Just when i lost faith in friendship, I found the true sincere ones who love me for who I am. Who stood up for me when I was betrayed, lost and sad. Who showered me with hope and love. I am thankful to be surrounded by amazing family and friends. I promised that with my return to Brisbane this time, I will be a different person, a more mature and a more forgiving one. A more independent one and most importantly a more optimistic one. Though it will not be easy, but I know my family and friends will be there by my side throughout my journey.

Final words for my high-school friends, "If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't jump with them. I will be at the bottom to catch them."

Goodbye my home and Malaysia, I shall see you again in 2012. =(

As CNY is just a few days away, I can't help feeling happier than ever. Explicitly delighted, ecstatic and intoxicated.

1) Did i told you I won THREE cds and not one? THREE Cube Entertainment CDs, specifically B2ST. OMG. total OMG. I might have downloaded their songs already but winning something you love is an unexplainable overjoyed feeling, way better than having a boyfriend. Liking B2ST since late last year is bringing in so much luck into my life and I might stick with B2ST for a pretty long time. My lucky charm.

2) Unplanned but I ended up meeting 8tv personalities in Malacca. Though they are not the hallyu stars, but seeing someone familiar in the TV with your own eyes delivers this pleasant satisfaction.

3) after back for nearly 2 months, i finally had my all-time favourite dipping food, sate celup.

4) my pre-order from Yes Asia arrived way earlier than I expected, sweet surprise and I'm absolutely pleased that i bought it. No regrets.

5) Korea is famous with the so called bromance (the close friendship between boys, as if they are a couple) and I have my sromance too. Couple specs, Couple shirt.

On, yes May the year of Rabbit bring endless luck and wealth to everyone too. And with each passing moments, Lets embrace the Chinese New Year with a brighter, joyous and colourful Future. Happy CNY! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

I did not wrote a heartfelt post for a very long time as I was fully pampered back home.

But the 'thing' in me will never change, the thing = the brain of mine which wanders 10000000 miles across the sea everyday. Yeah, i am a fantasy dreamer, an unnecessary worrier,and a full-time pessimist. My heart is reluctant to return Brisbane. Studying in overseas is the dream of everyone, pursue the prestigious degree in a prestigious university. That was my dream when i was little, i had my dream into reality now, yet i wasn't happy. in fact, i was far from happy. And I am tired of being a Pierrot, someone who is not a fool but struggles to find something more in life.

I felt alienated studying in a country that doesn't belong to you and no matter how friendly the people there were, I always felt a part of me was missing and the bond i had with them isn't the same. Friends, that's the furthest we could be, Not best friends. Despite them, being really nice and sweet, I find myself difficult to trust them because we are not from the same cultural background. For instance, I can't crap with them about 'Pig stomach soup' which I doubt they ever tasted it before. At times, I had to stop myself from blurting out random 'Hokkien' or 'Malay' during conversations to avoid the 'wft' look from them.

When i was doing my foundation, I had one of the best time studying despite the less famous, unhygienic and isolated college. I had the best roommate who share pretty much the same passion with me in music, the most awesome classmates that made me laugh frequently, the friendliest next-door/ down-stairs neighbour, the best dinner session in mamak stalls, the best karaoke session ever in a VIP room for a normal rate and the most memorable moment of tumbling down the stairs with my neighbours swinging their doors open to laugh at me.

But yet the one i miss most is my secondary life, especially Form 5. When I was hanging out with my friends lately, they told me they hated me back in Form 2 because I seemed more superior than them. To think about it again, I never really had many friends since young and especially after I skipped to standard 5 where my presence wasn't welcomed at all in 5 Hijau (my primary life) Everyone looked at me as if I was the intruder of their class. Honestly my dear friends, do you really hate PTS students back then? I even received 'surat layang' from my classmates, shoo-ing me out from their class. Sadly, I am so unlikeable back then. Things became worse when I was elected as the Head Prefect in my primary school where my classmates isolated me completely except a few. It was only till Form 5 where I sat beside Jyi changed my social life entirely. I never regretted a single moment of it because That's exactly how I met all my current best friends.

Making friends ain't difficult for most people but for me, it is like a pain in the ass. Yes, best fitted description ever. I hate making first move in knowing someone. I am always concerned about people's impression on me. That's why I never make friends. It's stupid, I know but I will never approach someone unless someone approach me first. So forget about me going up to you to say HI even if i know you well. Don't ask me why. I hate that part of mine too and that's why I sucks a big time in long distance friendship because I never laid any effort to retain it despite I cherish the friendship more than myself in reality.

I never make friends easily and that's a fact. Just look at my own Malaccan friends, I knew them since Form 1 but I was only close to them in Form 5. My closest buddy ever, Seow Lin. I knew her since Standard One but we were only attached to one another in Standard 5. It took freaking 4 years to develop both friendship I had know. Intec, I knew my friends like Koo, Mary anne, Melissa, Carolyn since Sem 1 but we were only close in Sem 3. It took freaking 1 year to build our friendship. And once I own the friendship, I treasured it more than anything.

And because of those ridiculous characteristic of mine, I never make many friends in Brisbane and I felt so isolated and even more alienated in an unknown place. I do not like strangers and I hate random people trying to be your friends all of the sudden. And All of that, sums up to my pathetic unhappy life in Brisbane. Alright, not really pathetic, just far from the university life i dreamed when i was little.

p/s: Oh, if you took the time to read till this sentence, you are awesome and I respect your patience to read an entire long draggy post. If you reach till this point and totally freaking out that I might be a social phobic, sorry to disappoint you but I am not. That's just me, a sad Pierrot and a more homely person. If you read till here and you are one of my friend, please be my friend forever because I do not own your friendship easily. Thanks.

I miss my friends tremendously and if it wasn't for my sis, I would have rot back home. At the same time. I am mortified by the fact that I am 21 this year while my friends are 22. Could you imagine that in a few years time, we will be graduating, working, getting married, giving birth, driving our dream cars etc? Time really flies. I do not want to grow old. here i am, in the year of 2011. a year after a year and amazingly, it had been 5 years since i left school. and yet, within these five years, i experienced more than i ever had. Step by step, leaving the adolescence world and finding the courage to pursue adulthood. and last year, life ain't a box of chocolate at all, tears and sorrows accompany me all long. As quoted in Bruno Mars' Song, "I wondered If I'd ever heal again, just like all the seasons never stay the same, all around me i can feel a change, I will break these chains that bind me, Happiness will find me, Leave the past behind me and so Today my life begins."

And if it wasn't for the support from my family and friends back in Malacca, I would not have hurdled through 2010 easily. Thanks to them, I felt love and sense of belonging. And because of them, I knew I am not alone in this world, in fact I knew I was the lucky one to be loved. And so, for the year of 2011, i promise to ditch the bad behind with a whole new world awaits for me, "Its mine for the taking and I know I can make it, Today my life begins."

since my last post or since my sis was back in Malaysia, I was so preoccupied for the past two weeks, travelling to Putrajaya, Muar, Kuala Pilah, KL and celebrating friend's birthday, Xmas countdown and New Year Countdown. i blame no one, but myself when i put on endless weight.

one of my best old buddy in Malacca, Siang's 21st birthday. Thanks to Onn's extraordinary, astonishing, mind-blowing and fascinating handmade book, this dear friend of mine shed priceless tears on her birthday.

as I am the only one studying in Australia, while the rest studying abroad in north or in Malaysia, reuniting with my whole group of friends seems impossible within these few years. we may seem rather small currently but I am certain that in a few years time, we will be 'one' again.

Popsicle that I miss so much, the cheapest ice-cream and yet the one I missed the most while I was in Brisbane.

the so-called transportation that i miss dearly: Bicycles. and thanks to these awesome friends, this desire came to an end. I am an official big time loser when it comes to activities that demand energy and stamina. I lack of both, and I struggled like a mad woman, cycling up the hill, across the forest.

being a kid has no age limit, and being a kid occasionally makes you laugh. But well, obviously you need friends who is willing to tag along your childishness. I found mine, no I didn't, more like they unleashed the child in me.

The seamless childishness worsen when the sea-saw was further manipulated as a weighing scale. And the Winner takes it all, the pride specifically.

thanks to B2st, i am now addicted to 4 minute too. they're hot. sizzling hot and i somehow find myself drawn towards their songs easily. i am not so 'into' girl bands because i hate girl bands. exceptionally, 4 minute impressed me pretty well, with their vocals and sexiness. hell yes, if you are guy and you do not salivate upon watching the video, you're sick cause even i, as a girl drools over them.

sorry dear blog, the comfort of home overpowered the desire of blogging.

being home is so overwhelming, the best time of the whole year.
with mum waking me up every morning, dishing out on the awesome food that i grew up with, lol-ing with the best Malaccan buddies, and the ultimate bliss of not-worrying-anything. Brisbane is filled with fake smiles and stupid lies that I personally do not have the courage to face them again next year. well, as for right now, indulging into every second of it worth a million, summer holidays that i treasure a lot.

reunited with few of my Malaccan friends. Honestly, spending 3 days and 2 nights with them is one of the happiest moment in my life this year. 'How happy you are with your friends' is largely determined by the type of friends surrounding you. i am always isolated and deceived at the same time in Brisbane and no matter how much forgiveness is given, the scar remains a lifetime.
i grew up a lot this year and from my experiences, i learned which friends are worth treasuring and which are not.
and for those in the pictures, you guys worth a zillion in my heart.

back home, friends regard me as 'Ah Shiok', a name which I despised being called as back in school days. But lately, whenever, my friends yell 'Ah Shiok', those fuzzy warm feeling creeps in and it made me smile. How I wish I could hear that the whole year through for it signifies that I am safe and back home in Malacca.
so for those in Malacca, please do call me 'Ah Shiok' as many times as possible within these 3 months because it adds smiles into my day.

So Today (Ft Island)

after much hassle, i settled down in a small new room. nothing fantastic about it, but warm and cosy enough as my shelter for my 3rd year as a pharmacy student. in fact, i am renting a room from an Australian mum and living together with her and her 5 year old daughter. it feels different to be in a Caucasian home and living with someone whom you hardly knows. And honestly, i hope i make the right decision and will not regret about it later. the house is filled with Christmas decors and kids drawings which makes it really warm and cute in a way that i really enjoy it somehow. The landlord has two dogs too, a jack russell breed and another brown dog which i fail to identify the breed because it hardly moves. Thank goodness they are small because i am not really good with animals. i adore them but i am afraid of them at the same time.

i am bored to hell staying at home alone, my friend who rented the other room from the same lady was out whole day accompanying her relatives from Malaysia while my other friends are either back in Malaysia or on holiday. i am practically stranded alone, watching movie, stalking people on facebook and playing some war games which i am being defeated repeatedly. pffft. and worst part, i have to do all these again and again for a week till i board the plane back home on 3rd December. and seriously, why no Korean bands releasing mv at this time when i need some entertainment the most?!!!??!!!

pardon me for my boredom but i am scrambling back watching more and more movies. and if i happen to put on lots of weight for gluing onto the bed most of the time watching movies, don't comment me when i am back cause i know i did. thanks and i'll be back blogging nonsense real soon.

Lights Go on Again

after the long hiatus, i am finally back with my blog. i am done with my second year as a Pharmacy student and hopefully it would be the official end of it. how depriving the year has been. and after all the shit i been through, it just feels surreal that i actually survived through this depressing year. life is great as for now (except for the searching house part) and i can't hardly wait to be back in Malaysia, reuniting with my family and my good buddies back in Malacca in which I assumed have changed tremendously - physically and emotionally. and most importantly to brush up my driving skills, guitar-ing skills that have never gone better, and hardcore watching korean dramas.

as i spend most of my time lying on the bed recently, listening to music and doing nothing (true bliss indeed), it came to me that i have so many good things in my life which i overshadowed it with all the trivial shits that I had. I have the best parents, the most awesome sister, 'kecoh' gang back home in Malacca, iphone4, sony cam, ipod, Hugo Boss orange perfume (thanks to roomie as my birthday gift), tonnes of clothes, shoes and bags. Though i used to hate my small eyes so much ( as my friends always questioned me the same thing regarding my small eyes: "The things you see izzit smaller? is the building shorter in your eyes?"- NO NO NO!), i start to realize the coolness of having smaller eyes. Though not electrifying like the huge sexy eyeballs, at least i have been mistaken as a korean for so many times in my life. I adore Korean girls for their beauty and to be mistaken as one of them even by the Korean themselves, it's a true humble honour.

with tonnes of boy bands in Korean industry lately, there is hardly one that I would actually extremely fall for apart from my craze over DBSK during high school . there are so many new bands and i personally feels it jeopardize the music industry slightly but i should probably change my perception now as B2ST is seriously one of the best band of all time. six amazing boys with most amazing vocals, body, and humor. and the best way to judge a group's talent is through their live performances, not mv.

i accomplished one of my bucket list:
To Sit in the middle of my Uni busiest road!!
(though it wasn't busy on the day i took the picture)
how awesome I am!?!

i have nothing much to blog about as I was practically staying at home most of the time. what a hardcore nerd i could be. and with exams in 3 weeks time, I have to bid all my shopping and eating out and loitering in city farewell. so yeah, I grounded myself at home. and looking back at all these 20 years, I could never understand how I survived through every exams. it's unbelievable.
i never enjoyed exams (nobody does right?) as exams make people different. friends become strangers and yourself become an entirely different person. overloaded with stress, dying brain cells and unhealthy diet with extremely dirty house and unwashed clothes piling up. the pathetic life of a university student. and once again, i am trashing everything into one post so bear with me, will you?

and the best form of enjoyment during exams is by watching dramas. Baker King,hell of awesome! My protagonist of all time, Gu Ma Jun. He is hell of hot and evil which makes him the ideal realistic character. and by having him as my desktop wallpaper, it inspired me to study and repay my hard work by re-watching my favourite scenes of him in the drama. an ingenious way of keeping me awake and staying on the table.

pictures keep memories alive and who could even believe that the picture above was taken two years back? so much fun and joy and it felt as if it just happened a few days back. Time flies faster when you're older. and with the fact that I am graduating in two years time, I feel old with many unaccomplished youth dreams.

the 100% knitted-coated toilet! would you even dare to use it? so much comfort while peeing.

My 20th Birthday in The Police Station

a long overdue post, but the title is no joke. I had my 20th birthday, 12am on 29th September 2010 in Brisbane police station. indeed the most memorable and remarkable birthday in my twenty years of life. We met with a car accident at 11pm and it wasn't serious but the quarrelling was pretty ugly. I was petrified and pondered, out of 365 days, the accident just had to be on my birthday night!! Life is just that sucky, isn't it? Hell yes. Incidents like that are unexpected but it just had to be on the day that I look forward most in my whole life. that's how much i despise fate sometimes.

with the lost pwm member whom we had not met for more than 6 months despite in the same state and same country.

i know the fact that everyone tried to make my birthday the best one for me. i am totally grateful for that. i am truly sorry if i acted immature on that night. i was just unhappy with the misfortune surrounding me. Since I am 20 now, that would be that the last time of my immaturity. Till then, I am learning to grow up and to accept the fact that things will not always work out the way you plan it.

p/s: the best part of my whole birthday was when i received a call from my UK friend at 2 in the morning. brief but such a great comfort after the accident i had. =)

Farewell

why do farewell even exist? i hate it. i despise it.
someone came into your life and the next moment, it was time for her/him to leave.
i am a total loser when it comes to such things.
i do not enjoy the feeling of looking at someone as you move further away and i do not enjoy the feeling of crying alone in the bus/house. and i definitely do not enjoy the feeling of reminiscing the happy moments we had. and somehow i am pretty lousy in keeping in touch with people and that's the main reason i lost in contact with most of my friends.

sis came to Brisbane last week and she left this morning. her presence brought so much laughter to my gloomy small house and when she left, her absence in the house is deeply felt. she wasn't there to babble with me about Korean dramas, Korean guys, Korean girls or gossip about pretty girls or handsome boys or share our thoughts on fashion. it was as if half of me had vanished.

i was not the best host for sure. with the frequent mood swings due to women's so called good friend, i was rather down, grumpy or emo. it sucks for sure. but despite everything, i enjoy every moment i had with my sister. and now without her, i felt pretty aimless. and lost not knowing what to do next or later.

life is always like that, huh? hello and then bye bye?

it gets pretty tiring when you are experiencing the same feeling over and over again.
so yeah, i miss my sis so much but i know i will see her again soon and then i will be leaving her again. and
sometimes i just wish the moon is square and everything does not happen in cycles.

one morning, i woke up and realized my fringe was in a mess and i lost all the courage to trim them myself.
and that's when i decided i need a proper hair cut.
and from there, i realized i was with the same hairstyle for ages
and so i decided to change a little of it. A little i reminded myself.
but the Korean lady in the salon misunderstood me and chopped half of my hair.
*tears in my eyes* as she snipped more and more off.
it felt as if someone was stabbing a knife straight into my poor heart.
and
for now, my hair is no longer the same. =(

and after 19 years, something for sure, i absolutely hate going to the salon and dentist. my greatest fear of all.

I have these couple of awesome friends whom I adore a lot. They are really cool, and they love me for who I am, for being greedy, not loyal and loud. They make me laugh when I am happy and shed my tears when I am sad. Best part, they never leave me no matter what happen even though we are miles apart. Awesome friends, aren't they? NO not true, sometimes I do wish they would stop missing me because they never stop TEASING ME with my favourite food! I love and hate you guys, seriously.

Why Blog?

Why Blog? That's exactly the question directed to myself. What's with the hassle of blogging un-interesting stuffs about your boring life? I never knew why i started blogging back then in 2007. It just happened, and i was so into the trend of blogging. But at times, i do think it is pretty worthless writing about your own life in a blog that no one would even be reading it. I am not intellectual, so no intellectual stuffs in my blog. I am not a hardcore reader, so I am someone with minimal knowledge of the outside world. I am not so into political stuffs so I am not the eyes of the younger generation. I am not one of the hot babes, so no hot sexy pictures in my blog So, why blog?

Honestly, i enjoy reading people's blog especially those hot babes with hot bodies and hot stories of their lives. Maybe not so-hot stories, after all they are only writing about their clubbing activities, shopping guilt, traveling stuffs and make-up. But somehow those are the blogs that i read over and over again. Call me shallow if you want too but those are apparently the appealing blogs in reality. i do love reading my personal friends' blogs too. well, at least i am not so alienated with my friends back in my hometown.

I can never figure out the reason i blog or the content in each post. Uploading pictures, adding a couple of words into the pictures or scrabbling down all the bitterness of my life. That's how i regard my blog as. Pretty worthless but my companion for so many years. Without my blog, I would have felt even lonelier. As i am studying in overseas away from my family and my trustworthy friends, I admit the fear I had in my life. While everyone is in the comfort of their lovers or the companion of bf/gf, I am all alone by myself and sometimes I hardly even speak during the weekends when I am all alone at home. That's pretty much how pathetic my life could be.

I am being so introvert these days and worst still, pessimistic about my life. I hardly look upon myself and feel worthless. Blogging somehow retain part of my 'social' life alive, though virtually only. As quoted by my friend in her blog, " I probably burnt out my youth, at 20." I couldn't agree more. Why worry tremendously when life should be good at this age? Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles, it takes away today's peace. And i am always doing that. Damn you, shen.

If I could release all my worries into my blog, it would be such a great way to de-worry myself. But it never works. At least, I get the relief feeling typing out stuffs that are so messed up in me. Many people are wondering how my life has been from my studies to relationship.. I was so secretive about my private life that after breaking up for more than half a year, some of my friends only knew about it.

I am doing fine with my life though not great, and i will not close my blog no matter how frequently my blog is kept aside. I do not need followers for my blog, and I am pleased with how it is right now. and If you ask me Why blog? Because it makes me happy. The end.

Brisbane Riverfire 2010

As promised, a tiny post on Brisbane Riverfire Festival.
I went last year and i was totally blew away with the mesmerizing firework and loud jet planes. with rather high expectations this year, I was a little disappointed with the firework and the so called helicopter performances. perhaps i had expected too much but anyhow, it was still a beautiful night filled with beautiful firework, hanging out with beautiful people.

the firework show, started slow and ended abruptly. =(
the main reason for this festival is simply to celebrate the fact that Brisbane is blessed with a river in the middle of the city. that's how i would exactly phrase it.

despite the small disappointment with this year performances, i would still attend the festival next year. It is indeed my annual must do list in Brisbane and a festival that people would actually be there since 8 in the morning for the best spot for the 7pm firework show. How amazing is that.

The author of this blog has somehow decided to reappear.
Lately, i start to feel my life is so routinized and I could even possibly predict the happenings for tomorrow. I do not like it. There is no sparks, surprises or happiness in it. Everything is so monotonous, blunt and flat.
Sometimes I feel I am so isolated and lonely. There are so many things that I bottled up in myself that I wish I could let it go.
I don't hate my uni life, I just despise the life i am having now. Everything feels so out of place and I get upset easily over extremely trivial matters. I blame on the damn imbalance hormones in women. When will this holding back of fear and insecurity leave me? At times, I wish I was a kid instead, cuddling under my parents shield and absolutely free from worries. I do not want to grow up and be the other despair adult. Life is so not a box of chocolates and sadly....

My Bucket List

the end of winter and the end of august month, and i somehow could not hide the tingling excitement sensation in my heart.. no more wrapping yourself up in the boring same old jacket, sis visit to Brisbane during my birthday and just another 3 more months of torture till i am back home.

do you guys have a bucket list? i do not consider myself too young to have a bucket list. bucket list is pretty much like 100 things to do before you die or perhaps to sound better, bucket list is a way to stop putting off your dreams for "someday" to a definite day.

i might have completed 10% of my bucket list so far and as i progress through my life journey, i shall add more in. as for now, there are some really ridiculous stuffs in my list but oh well, who knows dreams might just become reality? (not by inception method of course).

1) own a Lexus at the age of 40 (sports car model preferably)

2) attend a Korean band concert (between ft island, cn blue or super junior)

4) Meet Dong Hae/ Jae Jin (date with them if possible..screw me!)

3) watch the most anticipated FIFA match LIVE. (eg: germany vs argentina)

4) Perform by playing guitar in my sis/ best friend wedding ( if only they do allow a disastrous performance..lol)

5)Be the renowned Hospital Pharmacy specialized in one specific field

6) Do charity work in a tragedy area by offering my pharmacy skills!

7) Have my own Music band with me being the drummer/guitarist! (now, who is willing to join my band?)

8) To learn Drum of course!

9) To eat all the world most famous DESSERTS!!

10) ~~Publish my own cookbook.~~ Go on a helicopter ride (i am a not-too-good cook yet)

Classes finished at 5pm for three days continuously and even if my classes happened to finish earlier, I was stranded in uni, doing lab reports with my course mates or if my classes happened to start later, I was forced to be in uni earlier for my tutoring job. either way, I am exhausted. and that's not even the peak of my uni yet and I had not even commence my placement in Pharmacy. life in a few weeks later would be a nightmare of rushing to complete assignments and rushing for buses to pharmacies. the torture of a pharmacy student or perhaps it was just only me.

it is Ekka Holiday today and i spend my whole day glued at the study table doing my lab report. and since i am pretty done with it, I shall blog the final one about my Melbourne trip. boy, how much i miss those times, not doing anything except eating and touring. the final two awesome places that I would to share with you guys is Old Town Mamak and Windsor Hotel (the oldest hotel in Melbourne)

I fell in love with the Old Town Mamak instantly for both the services and the awesome food. amazingly, they had 'ah ne' working there, tossing the roti canai. that's something not to be missed in Melbourne, especially when you had not tasted home Malaysian food for nearly six months. and especially when your friends back home uploaded pictures of the awesome Malacca or Jonker Street food in facebook. food in Old Town mamak is great but portion too small for me.

one of the best and most expensive Hi-tea i ever had was at Windsor Hotel. but it was totally worth the money with the great delicacies that they served ranging from scones to macaroons to desserts. i am craving for it so much right now and believe me those small portions turned out to be pretty filling.

jeez, i miss Melbourne terribly. It is not that I hate Brisbane, I do love Brisbane but living in Melbourne would have been much better. i been thinking a lot lately and I thought I should have really smacked myself hard because I could have been one of the luckiest girl to have the opportunity to study overseas. Back then, I always lamented about not going to UK and right now I am complaining of not studying in Melbourne. I should appreciate what I have and right now, I am glad to be in overseas at least pursuing for what i want.

Flea Market Obsession

i may be a cheapskate buying stuffs from a flea market but so what?
in fact, that's the best place to get retro and vintage stuffs.
i was lucky enough to spot and buy a golden bangle watch for 3 bucks. not really exclusive but good enough for my satisfaction.

lesson learnt from flea market shopping : saw something you like? grab it straight away. never have 2nd thoughts because if you do, you will lose them right under eyes!

i lost two stuffs from the market. big mistake. big regret. but oh well, at least i had the watch to repay my lost.

Autumn's Concerto

i would regret for my whole life if i had never watched this amazing drama.
this Taiwan series ain't so new anymore and i am kinda out-dated actually. but better late than never.
i never really like Taiwan series with their usual over-reacting acting and really ridiculous fantasy dreams but this one is so different. the best of all time.

they had the most amazing casts in it and secretly, I am in love with Van ess Wu. He wasn't my favourite at all, not even in Meteor Garden or F4 but seriously I could not let my eyes off him. His acting was pretty good and his body was H.O.T.
now, who say small eyes people are not HOT?
he proved it.
so i am hot too.

and xiao xiao bin was so cute too. the small boy who appeared naked in the series. poor you to have your 'nudity' shown to millions of audiences.

please please do watch this series cause it is too good to be missed.
i cried like crazy, laughed like a mad person and went 'awwwww'' over the romance scenes. it wasn't just about romance, the whole plot was just captivating.
so do watch it!
and you will know why i said vaness wu is hot.

Philip Island

i am blogging so much about Melbourne lately but i just have the urge to continue on. it is just the feeling of wanting to tell the whole world about how amazing my winter break was.
alright, i promise this shall be my 2nd last post about my winter break.

my sis and I followed a tour trip to Philip Island in Melbourne.
it wasn't really an amazing trip for us as we ended up quarreling with some "China Aunties" who claimed we stole her bag and seat. seriously, if it wasn't because of her age, i would have totally whacked her. i bet you will do that too if someone yelled at you for being a thief! COME ON, i am pretty sure my bag is more expensive than yours!

apart from that, Philip Island was a lovely place to visit. Churchill Island, Koala Sanctuary, Nobbie Centre and The Penguin Watching Centre. we did not took many pictures unfortunately.

in the Churchill Island which was actually a farm with Blacksmith centre, horses, kangaroos, sheeps and etc. and we saw the sheep shearing process. pretty terrifying for the poor sheep

everything is so peaceful in the farm.

sadly i wasn't lucky enough to spot any seals in the Nobbies centre so i ended up kissing a seal in the poster to make my money worth it.

and the best part of the trip was watching the penguins, rising from the sea, wobbling back to their nests. the beauty of nature. unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take any pictures.
in summary, Philip Island is a nice place to visit but never ever join a trip loaded with 'China aunties'. I don't hold grudges against them but being called a thief when you are not, that's so not impressive.

Secretly, I am wishing.

2nd week of uni and i lost all the mo-jo-jo spirit of studying. somehow it could get really freaky looking at my course mates. majority of them would be studying even during this 2 hour lunch break. and the only lunch break we had before our 4 hours of lecture. how could these people do it? ironically, i am streaming videos in youtube and blogging. not so much of a pharmacy student quality and secretly, i just wish the students at here would be little less smarter and hardworking too.

i told myself in the beginning of this semester that I will not stress myself out again like how i did last sem. i have to take things easily and perhaps life would be much brighter.
and i enjoyed my winter break tremendously and as for that, i don't like being at home and secretly i wished i was in Melbourne instead.

but some things can't be changed no matter how much i wish for it secretly.

sorry for the lack of updates, busy with uni stuffs and kinda overused my Internet usage.
as for now, i could only afford a quick update as i am using my house mate's quota.

my reunion with two of my most awesome buddies back in Melbourne.
had not met them for a year or even longer and yet they never changed. pretty much the same laid-back friends that i knew back in Intec. so it is true that great friendship remain the same even though time flies. gosh, i miss them so much.
