Greek Paniyiri Festival 2010

Greek Paniyiri Festival 2010 is simply Queensland's signature celebration and the state's largest cultural festival as a tribute to the famous gods of Greek mythology. and the best part, the festival was only within walking distance from our house. how awesome for us, the West End residents.

<span class=
just check out the MASSIVE MASSIVE crowd there. Brisbane's festivals never fail to impress me especially in the terms of attendance wise and responses from the people itself. you would never expect such massive crowd in Malaysia organized events.

<span class=
and Greek food is full of awesomeness such as those Honey puffs. we had three plates of this, the first one was average, the second one was free from a random stranger (how lucky we were) and the third one was Superb from a different stall. a must eat Greek food. yummy-licious.

<span class=
marinated octoups, another definite must eat Greek Food. we had this twice, and it tasted so good and i enjoyed the chewing part too.

<span class=
and Halloumi (cypriot cheese), another thicker version of naan with super delicious cheese in it. i adored this so much and though the food were rather expensive, we really enjoyed all the food we bought. no regrets for sure. oh, the stuffed capsicum was delicious too!

<span class=
the scariest ride i have seen by far that i will never take in my life. sometimes i do admire the bravery in Caucasians. they never had the second thought of fear and would just jump onto those freaking scary rides with laughter and no tears.

<span class=
one of the kiddiest game we have ever played but yet the most awesome, thrilling and exciting one! and i had so much fun in this and all those small little things on movements that i experienced in the house there was far more worthwhile than all the rides i took in dreamworld.

<span class=
another killer ride that we mistakenly believe that the smoke released from the machine was a sign of mechanical breakdown. it turned out to be just another extra effects of the ride.

<span class=
the super bouncy jump ride that we took. it wasn't scary but it was definitely an awesome feeling of bouncing up and down repetitively, forward and backward too.

<span class=
in the Greek church which was opened for public viewing. beautiful place for sure.

<span class=
just check out all those paintings on the church's ceiling. so meticulous, refined and nicely done.

<span class=
balloon time with the balloon size according to the owner's body size. and the orange one is definitely the biggest of all. wakakakkaa. just kidding.
i thought i lost my skills in blowing a balloon but hey surprisingly i did not.

Greek Paniyiri Festival was really fun, we stayed there for nearly 6 hours and we were entertained with Honey puff eating competition, belly dancing performances, Helenic dances and even the Greek Gods introduction. but we missed the fireworks in the end. what a waste but this is definitely a must go festival for sure! something that i will look forward again next year especially all those good food.

A million Confession

in my blog as usual, i try my very best to refrain myself from saying too much about sadness or the down-part of my life because my parents are reading my blog and i do not want to make them worry about me. but i failed this time.
something that i learnt from this week was not to put false hope on something because you will only hurt yourself. yes i had the hurt. i do not blame on anyone except myself because i looked at things at the wrong way and believe too much on fairy tales ending. someone should really sue Walt Disney for making us believe that fairy tales do exists through movies like Cinderella, beauty and the beast etc. because in my life, fairy tales do not exist and there are just pure crap.

but however, all the hurt and sadness i experienced in this week had make me a different person. especially in terms of believing fairy tales. lol. Tears do happen and yes i do endure, grieve but i will move on. and i now believe that the only person who is with us our entire life is ourself.

the funny part of everything was i lost something precious to me but in return, i had 3 extra new things ; a friend who will cook lotus soup for me when i am sad, a friend who will download anything that i requested when i am sad and a friend who will be there to wipe my tears when i cry, accompany me for shopping and treat me a seafood pancake. if i knew i am going to get royalty treatment like this, i am so gonna cry everyday. nah, just kidding, crying hurts a lot and i might have cried a gallon of tears this week. Thanks a lot to the three of you guys ( you know who you are) because without you guys, i would have never felt better.

anyway, life goes on and so i am bouncing back to my normal life like how it used to be two years back revolving around friends and families. so worry less about me because i am doing absolutely great now.

********************************************************************************
a couple weeks back, i received this really interesting email from my mum and i thought it would be great to share with you guys on a couple of stuffs from this email. the email was about on How to stay young and happy for instance:-

a) Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you grasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots of time with him or her.
Now i know why i was so emo in Brisbane simply because I am not having my big laughter friend, Siang Shu Hua by my side. She always make me laugh and without her in Brisbane, i became totally stoned at times.

b) Enjoy simple things.

c) Surround yourself with what you love like music.
so that totally explained my extreme craziness into korean music lately as in more extreme than usual simply because i was sad and i found stuffs that could keep my mind busy. apart from the awesome music, i was entertained with desirable eye candy too. lol just like these: (Behold! Caution! If you hate korean songs, stop reading this post. )

<span class=
my self-compilation of my dong hae in bonamana mv and performances. he is definitely my number one in Super Junior group.

<span class=
my 2nd self compilation of my favourite dance moves in Bonamana mv. and at times i do prefer watching their live performances more because they had much awesome clothing there but something for sure nobody could dance better than them.

<span class=
my 3rd self compilation of my favourite scenes in Love Mv by CN Blue. yes i do like jong hyun and min hyuk tremendously and sometimes it just irritates me a little when jong hwa is getting all the camera-attention. he wasn't my favourite in cn blue and even in you're beautiful series but of course he is an awesome singer that i can't deny.

<span class=
and my final compilation of Sweet Holiday performances by Cn Blue. jong hyun guitar-ing skills and the mesmerizing white acoustic guitar. if only i could have one guitar like that.

don't call me crazy please.
trust me it ain't easy in getting the right part of the mv and print-screening it and compiling all of them together. well, i am doing it in the manual way. lol. ok, that's all for now.
mummy & daddy, i am doing really fine as you can see i am totally crazy about my korean music as usual. so do not worry about me!

One is Never Enough.

<span class=

...including our big man's 21st birthday.
though i initially stated in my blog that we won't be celebrating his birthday any further, all those were part of our plans to disappoint him with the assumptions that we won't be free on his birthday. oh well, i doubted our plans ever worked for he was too smart to be cheated or we were too fake to be true.

<span class=

we made reservations at Jo-jo's restaurant in the Brisbane District Centre @ City. lol. the ambiance of the restaurant was awesome and some food were great too but not all. we celebrated his birthday after our exams in the afternoon in which i was at the brink of failing it and resiting again this Thursday because one question wrong pretty much equals to failing. oh well, i am beginning to accept the fact that life in Brisbane could be real pain in the ass sometimes.

<span class=

the restaurant was such a vintage with Audrey Hepburn and Elvis Presley posters all around. great way to be back in time with a group of close buddies. and of course the person who enjoyed most with Hepburn around us is my rooomie. she is undeniably a huge fan of Hepburn.

anyway, we do hope that the man enjoyed his 21st birthday, it wasn't grand nor superior but all we had in mind was some moments of friendship clicking. and we hope you had a memorable one! =)

i tried my very best not to post about the things i want to type below because if i start typing about them there would never be a full stop. i could have possibly irritated my roommate so much by replaying the songs and videos for more than 50 times and very likely to annoy the other two guys too because i was disturbing them about the downloading thingy. but i don't think i can refrain any longer. YES I WANT TO YELL TO THE WHOLE WORLD AGAIN THAT I AM IN LOVE WITH SUPER JUNIOR 4TH ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please do check out their bonamana mv and performances because it was way to awesome to keep them to myself only.

don't they have awesome choreography?
i am not linking their mv here because i love the song without the auto tune in the mv. it sound way better. but
anyhow my favourite song from the whole album would be awarded to One Fine Spring sang by Ryeo Wook.

p/s: siang shu hua, if you are wondering what kind of guy i like please do focus on dong hae, the one with the rose trick.hahaha.

ok back to my phrm 2030 newspaper assignment. getting a bit bored reading the newspaper articles but the boost of getting me going is none other than super junior songs as the background. hahaha. shall stop now or i will bore you guys out with my ramblings on korean stuffs.
