Malaccans United

from left to right ( eunice, shen, onn, bee fang, jyi, li lin, luah, cheryl)
been ages since i last met all my buddies and my so called family members......and i definitely missed them a lot.....seriously a lot...well, and it's only till yesterday that i realized that i am totally OUT DATED from malacca development...all of the sudden, during this whole week, i discovered so many things in malacca. new shops in mahkota parade, even the keris tower is operating already, the newly found fort can be seen clearly, and now suprisingly malacca even has karaoke box ( the high standard one i meant) and even has a place called 'THE JETTY' between holiday inn and century mahkota...wow, i must be seriously out dated...haha i guess now i am more of a Shah Alamian...................... lol...i wonder does even this word exist. one sentence - I MUST REGAIN MY KNOWLEDGE ON MALACCA AGAIN...
enough of my crapping on malacca..the point is i really enjoyed hanging out with my friends again...well, they didn't change much practically still the same noisy bunch...the hyper bunch...the gossipy bunch too.........i really had fun with you guys...and jus wanna wish all of you ALL THE BEST IN UR MID TERM EXAMS FOR THOSE STUDYING IN MHS!
GOOD LUCK TO THE REST! :)

and a simple touch up on a picture make the picture more meaningful to me.... :)

The Long Waited Letter Has Finally Arrived

shen's greatest fear has finally arrived the house letter box at 1.45pm, 27th March 2008...fuh...now extra work to be done...yeah, none other than my beloved national service confirmation letter.......i just find it pretty hilarious as it is pretty obvious that i wouldn't be able to make it for national service as currently i am persuing my prepatory programme in INTEC.......sigh, i thought they should have been more alert on these and give my place to other trainees who desperately wants to join national service..now, not only i have extra work to fill up borang penagguhan, so do they........ well, i seriously have no comment on this..
i even received a bus ticket...stating which camp i will be at...HUTAN REKEASI AYER KEROH...haaa that good old place that i used to camp during my school days......

Too good to be true

it just feel weird...............

when my alarm goes off at 9 instead of 5 in the morning..................

it just feel weird.................

when i don't have to rush myself for bus......................

it just feel weird...............

when i don't have to make sure that i am not late for class.........

it just feel weird...............

when i don't have to attend any lectures.............

it just feel weird................

when there is no lab reports for me to complete...............

it just feel weird................

when i don't eat choki choki from koperasi............

it serioulsy feel weird...............

when there is no exams during the whole week...............

it just feel weird.................

when i am so free...................

and i seriously do feel weird.

p/s : after posting this, i only realized that i still had a huge lump of assignments waiting for me to touch them..sigh.....................

a week in Kem Bumi Jati
( Shah Alam Seksyen 30)
deprived from television, Internet and even horrendous phone connection ( honestly for once, the yellow man over ruled the maxis connection)
well, i won't really said that i enjoyed the ceramahs and the ldk activities but some how the circle of friends surrounding me made my btn course such a memorable one.......
thanks a lot for making it such a great week hanging out with you guys!!!!
i will definitely miss those days where twelve of us squeezed together in a room....
stripping in front of each other ( hahaa this sounds so wrong).........................
singing out loud every night.................................
complaining to each other bout the number of mosquitioes that fed on our blood...............
comparing which guys are more handsome.....................
and gossiping with each other till 3 am.......................
sharing bed with each other and creating the imperialisme concept.............
taking snapshots every single seconds, minutes, hours.............
studying together for the upcoming exam ( i doubt the amount that entered our brain)............
and the best of all.............
cracking jokes on one another............
those days will remained stongly in my heart and i am glad
that
i am in the same room with you guys...............

Happy Birthday Mummy!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUMMY!!!!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Doesn't she looks lovely?

a bouquet of flowers from jie jie to mummy how sweet...

a cake for mummy...

and finally a diamond necklace from me to mummy!!!!!

THE CHORNICLES OF NARNIA : PRINCE CASPIAN
Rating : 5/5
simply love this movie to tiny bit of pieces...every single aspects of this movie is excellently done......the whole plot is perfect and the actors are well-matched.........yup, i watched this movie on the day they were premiered at sunway pyramid....indeed it is a must watched movie...the humors in this movie really works well and the casts really played their roles well..what more can i say?? just adore this movie....the part that i loved this movie most is definitely the war scene..no doubt it is not as good as lord of the rings but it is enough for a simple story like this......i love the way how they strategize their war and how the narnians sacrifice each other......fine, i have to admit the thing here...that i CRIED during the war part.....it tore my heart when the narnians got stucked behind the gate while the rest are out there...and they just got killed by the Telmarinds......my friends all laughed at me for crying but i just have to cause it really make me feel sad......and the second part i loved is defintely the one to one battle between King Peter and the Lord Miraz.....well-filmed....and you can definitely see how skillful each of them are......well, another thing to admit... I LOVE KING PETER A LOT!!!! in fact much more than prince caspian......yeah, i know more people adored prince caspian but king peter has the charm and the aura to trigger my brain and interest..lol...sounds so poetic.... but that's the fact....and the final part i loved this movie is definitely the war at the tomb.....i was amazed by how the narnians strategized their war by emerging from the underground despite their fewer numbers.......and how they are willing to go all way out.... AND my favorite character apart from King Peter is the adorable little mice , Reephicheep and Trumpkin, our D.L.F dear little friend....that little mice really makes all the humors work.........and our d.l.f friend is too cute to be true...lol.....A MUST WATCHED MOVIE and if you are planning to watch narnia, DO INVITE ME CUZ I DEFINITELY WILL LIKE TO WATCH IT FOR A SECOND TIME!!!!!!!

inactiveness of my blog

The reason i haven't been active : EXAMS!!!!!
exams are seriously deprieving my life.....just one day before my exam, i took a bus home from malacca to shah alam...and to my worst worst worst horror, the bus broke down....i was stranded in the middle of highway for nearly SIX SIX SIX hours..........doing nothing and wait and wait and wait...........i felt so guilty cause i was supposed to be studying....i was supposed to be revising for my esls...and for not doing so, there is a price to pay for it......i FLUNG my listening, my reading and my essay...one word to wish my esls : BYE BYE!!!!!!........feeling so dejected bout my esls, i thought things will be better by the second day of my exam....but my prediction was never right..... math test was really driving me crazy......pressing the calculator at a very high speed, writting across the paper at a speed of light...wanting to finish all the questions within 2 hours.......come one, in a realistic world, you wouldn't expect a normal average student like me to finish my math test consisting of 12 questions within 2 hours??? done with horrible math, now come to chemistry test......it was just nice for two hours...but difficulties of the test is very much to be desired...by end of the day, my brain was really drenched up making my day even worse.......alrite, in my mind, i thought physic test wouldn't be as bad as my previous tests but the total opposite happened......... imagine nearly 90% of all the students failed to complete the physic papers- essay undone, graphs not plotted, calculations not derieved..... who is to be blame now ? if it is only one student who can't complete the test, then that it's fine but if 200 students failed to complete the test, it is so obvious that the PHYSIC TEST IS NOT OUR LEVEL!!!!! IS NOT OUR STANDARD!!!!! now with the final paper, biology there is nothing much more to hope considering the previous damage i have done on my tests..........at least bio paper is the only paper made most senses to me...................i am done with exams..partial 'MERDEKA' for at least three weeks before i am down in the horrible life again................

Shen's Favourite Movie Of The Year

AUGUST RUSH , A MUST SEE MOVIE
while not many are aware of this movie, many are at a great loss too cause this movie is simply one of the best movie i ever watched....and simply the movie cause my eyes to be swollen for the past couple of days.....a lovely movie on family and relationships that one should never miss out....... i just love the whole combination of this movie ranging from the little boy character (the boy who acted in charlie's and the chocolate factory) to the arrangement of music...superb in short....

Tells the story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri Russell) who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York’s Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams), August (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth. and during August's journey to find his parents, he learned more about music - how to play a guitar n even composed the Rhapsody music played by the orchestra team....his talent in music is simply inherited by both his parents and for him, live is all about music.....

The acting by the characters were excellent and they choose the right people for the right characters. There's not much dialogs in this movie and majority of the story is told through the emotional expressions of the actors and via the music. the little boy in the movie, Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is the cream of the crop as far as child actors go. He amazed me in this film. he is truly adorable, a great actor in future and he definitely has more to offer.
Beautiful cinematography! The opening scene in the wheat field is just breathtaking. The score is fabulous. Let's face it, in a movie like this, you've got to have great music to pull it off.

I enjoyed "August Rush" tremendoulsy. I haven't been moved to tears like this by a film in a long time at the very begining of the story right till the end. The story was simply inspiring and the boy's unyielding faith and will to never give up on his dream to find his family really hit me. it makes me treasure my family even more. Kudos to the writers and director for ending the film the way they did. Instead of a sappy reunion scene, they ended it beautifully with the crescendo of the music and just the close-up on August as he sees his parents standing there for the first time.
august and his daddy

daddy and mummy
*the most compatible couple i ever seen on screen*

bravo to robin william's acting as Mr. Wizard

music is all about this movie

a labour day for us

Being so drenched up with workloads and perpetual exams, i am TRULY ABSOLUTELY glad that i finally have a long weekend break......some serious break that i desperately need now............before proceeding on my labour day with my friends, i just felt the urge to post this pic...yeah, all of us were smiling but trust us right after the math test, we weren’t like that anymore....in fact, i regretted taking this pic a few minutes before math test....should have spend the last two seconds reading math formulas instead......duh....it’s too late now.......

(carolyn, shen, tina, gash, xiang)

Being around with my buddies again makes me so warm and homely. Watched iron man with my friend..it is definitely a good movie with a 4/5 stars rating...i love the torturing part where they filmed in Afghanistan, just remind me about those articles i read for debate......Tony Stark a genius in physic and if only i have a brain like his, my physic would not have flung that badly......... but a tiny part of this movie disappoint me where the antagonist died too fast...the director made it look as if the evil vanished so easily..........i will definitely credit the humor part in this movie...lovable and enjoyable it is definitely a great movie and worth watching it in the cinema.

an A+ movie for shen

ktm station once again
