Ambang Merdeka UITM 2007

Thursday, 30th August was an extra exhausting day-from test to midnight celebration. once i completed my test, i rushed back to my hostel to change my shirt and even actually skipped my dinner just to attend the ambang merdeka night without knowing the worst of the worst was waiting for me. once we reached the main campus of uitm, there was a uitm student ordering all the non-muslims to stand aside. once we were informed that we, non-muslims are involved in marathon that particular night, i was speechless-in fact stunned. imagine as early as six i woke up in the morning, sat for my math test that evening and now i was forced to RUN!!!!!!!!!!!! well, we walked all the way up the hill to the starting point and were standing there for hours together with the cyclist and other runners. we had some fun mixing with the korean program students and was cam-whoring all way through...running halfway..stopped halfway...took pictures....listened to japanese songs....sang some songs.....till we finally reached the gate to enter the stadium...but yet we stood there for like ages.......and it was that time that i realized that not all non-muslims are involved in the run only unfortunate ones like me...

the korean programme students plus gash's water bottle

cam whoring during halfway of the run

the other runners

and finally we entered the stadium and here came the worst part in my life-running a whole complete track....all of us are forced to run and run and run.....well, if you saw intec students running around the stadium yesterday, it was no doubt that i was one of the crowd running there.....but at least we were entertained by the fireworks in the end...it wasn't the best but at least something to calm me down after running for so long.

and here comes the best peformance-it was cute , funny and pretty cool too. performance by the tentere malaysia. pretty amazing performance for them as they were performing gymnastics. seriously, their usual fit and serious trainings are so ironic compared to this soft, flexible and sexy stunts....

and during halfway of the celebration, something caught my attention- the trademark of warrangu class.. which is none other than wei-qi game. she actually brought her wei-qi there and was spreading the interest to play wei-qi among the other uitm students.......well, i guess that's how she celebrated merdeka after all. and now presenting to you guys the two so-called most patriotic students in 'intec'...gash & chin.
and even thought i didn't stayed at the stadium till the countdown for merdeka, i experienced the cutest countdown in my life. we actually countdown in the bus together with the radio announcer.... it was so cute when everyone was screaming and laughing...Well, i guess it wasn't a bad day after all minus the running part for sure! :)

p/s: when i woke up this morning, my whole body was aching and numb ...perhaps it has been ages since i last ran.

Happy 50th Merdeka, Malaysia!

HAPPY 50TH Merdeka, Malaysia!!

The worst nightmare in my life

my first week in intec after the semester mid break is indeed not a sweet honey week like what i have been expecting in fact it was a nightmare. i was down with severe stomach ache in fact one of the worst i ever had. i could feel the excurating pain in my tummy and how pale i was during that moment. and the worst part the tummy pain attacked during ielts class after i eaten ausmat food. well, the ausmat food wasn't really dirty cause my friend was eating the same food but yet nothing happened to her. i guess it's just that my immune system is so low. i went to the ladies twice during ielts class and even the lecturer was worried...sigh..what a day...somebody please help me to upgrade my tummy's immune system or else i will be suffering from pain....

Reuniting with the Malaccan rockers!

my one week holiday is indeed a splendid one especially when it comes to reuniting with all my schoolmates. staying in a apartment with them for 2 days and 1 nights is undeniably enjoyable. and this reunion in fact means a lot to all of us as one of our friends, Lynna will be flying to Mesir next week. wow, time really flies that fast as she will be pursuing her dream to become a doctor soon. without lynna in our team, we will never be the same again.

from left to right-bee fang, onn onn, me, hui pin, mei yueh and our dearest lynna!

we met on monday evening and went to mahkota for dinner at kenny rogers...the restaurant was playing all those romantic songs that made all of us in the mood for love...well, not exactly as we got totally hyper active when we were talking about our lives, our friends and the best part is absolutely gossiping-the person we were gossiping about will always remained a secret among us!!!! the meal was pretty much expensive but it was the tantalizing taste that paid off.
after the dinner, some of us went back to the apartment and while some of us including me went for late night movie-ratatoutille. well, not surprising if the cinema was packed with small kids-after all it was a children movie.

the romantic atmosphere in kenny rogers

after the movie, all of us went back to the apartment and started doing nonsense stuffs like cam-whoring, checking out phones, playing cards, and continuously cracking up jokes among us.
all of us stayed up till 2 in the morning and eventually, our tired eyes couldn't take it anymore and ordered us to sleep immediately.

in our rooms with half-asleep eyes

the next morning, some of us had morning classes in high school and some went home. the number of people in the house was getting lesser but the noise was getting louder-well, practically we were playing cards eg. chor tai ti and the cheat game and one of my friends had not won a single game and was complaining through out the whole morning. she even told us that we would not go for lunch till she wins a game and thank godness she finally won a game and all of us headed to mahkota for lunch at secret recipe.

the five angelic faces ( whose face looks the most innocent?)

we are the free of charge promoters for mcdonald! :)

and we even had fun sliding down the kids' slides

and played children's games-well, that's us!

WONDERING WHAT THE MALACCAN ROCKERS DO IN THEIR FREE TIME?

1)Comparing whose phones are better and chatting non-stop
(omong-omong kosong)

2) addicted to card games from morning till night

3) feasting on wonderful food!

so that's, practically what malaccan rockers do! ^_^

Time to Pamper Myself

Income from JPA has arrived in my bank account last week. I wouldn’t claimed that the amount of money that is given by JPA is a lot but pretty much enough for me to survive in shah alam considering the fact that I am a LOYAL P.B.S.M member (persatuan balik setiap minggu). With my wallet over weighing with notes and coins, what is more stastifiying compare to pampering yourself with tantalizing food- exclusive ice-cream and chocolates. Yummy…..one is definitely not enough as everything comes in pair including ice-cream for sure!

Having a seat in Ausmat Café –one of the most establish café compared to others (seriously, this café is something that the ausmatians are proud about including me, perhaps half of me only). The tables are green, my favorite colour and it would not be surprising if I love hanging out in aussie café. Foods are pretty average. I wouldn’t claimed it’s the best but something edible is better than nothing. Foods are very repetitive through out the whole year and if your luck is pretty good one that particular day, you will discovered some new dishes but only the fastest wins the race to taste the dish.

(the ladies in my ko-pln group)

All ausmat and alm students are compulsory to attend Ko-pln for this semester. I have been forced to stay back every wed till six and usually by end of the day, I am laying flat on my bed with my brain programming me to sleep immediately. Ko-pln is practically a program to instill patriotism, to mould the perfect teenager, and to develop smooth communication skills. Thanks goodness my ko-pln team members are pretty cool or else I will be bored to death in the classroom. Yup, couldn’t wait for the month of September cuz’ my team is going to Terengganu for holiday!!!!!!! Haha and the best part is we will be organizing a bengkel to upsr students in one of the school there and we are going to be the “so called” facilitators soons. An upgrade of our status! = P

Pyjamas Slumber Night

p/s: check out the tortoise freak in the house!!!

staying in the house and sleeping in the same room with them are indeed memories that i appreciated the most. they brought so much fun in my intec life and without them, my life in intec will be dull, gloomy and sombre. but the existence of gash and shera in my house brought tremendous fun and laughter. sharing food, sharing things, sharing laptops, sharing clothes, sharing shoes, sharing everything just instill a stronger bond among us. next week we wouldn't be meeting each other for a week and for that reason, we have some stupid slumber night- practically more on cam-whoring. lol!! but seriously we have fun snapping pictures, running to and fro checking out the pictures we took, trying to act cool in picutres (a failure for me for sure) and also laughing at one another for our funny posts! shera, gash and shen the ultimate noise-maker in the room 405/1.

OMG............

I GOT NATIONAL SERIVCE 2008!!!!!!
(the four words that i want to scream now)

speechless...stunt...shocked.....surprised.....traumatized.....
shaken...upset..depressed. hoping that i type my ic wrongly but they display my name too..what more can i say........
now, i have to defer this national service till 5 and half years later....praying hard that by that time, no ones remember that I'm chosen for national service! T_T

Shocking, Miaw Jyi in skirt!!!

for the past few years knowing miaw jyi, mostly everyone hardly see her skirt-mini skirt apart from the prefect's skirt she is wearing in school but today, during the anugerah pelajar cemerlang event...she made a history that ought to be remembered for life!!!!! a knee-length skirt!!! hui pin and i could not resist laughing at her for she no doubt looks weird in skirt-perhaps we are too used seeing her in pants and trousers. well, no matter what, everyone looks sweet and smart on that day wtih smiles all over their faces. it's really great meeting the three of my friends again and i realised how much i actually miss you guys. I could hardly wait for next week and anticipate the countdown of intec summer break!!! yippeee...a week more to go!!!!!

sexy miaw jyi in skirt! :)

peace sign

Shen is 'destroying' the piano!!!!!

honestly, i'm totally a newbie in music instruments- hardly know a single music notes, hardly play a piano before, hardly understand the joy of playing music instruments. while most of my friends achieve excellence in all their music skills but for me, i am a total 'banana' in them. however, ever since fate place me and gashini as room mates, i'm greatly influence by her-her wonderful music talent. she even brought her keyboard to shah alam which is no doubt benefiting everyone around her. we could listen to free music and even attend free music lessons. gash taught the both of us, shera and I a song. a song that need the combination of two people to play. my very first lesson playing piano. most of my friends and even my sister will actually freaked out when they see this but trust me, it's original, no editing done on it and i'm really playing a song!!!

p/s: seriously, i need to buck up my style of playing piano. missing the x-factor..lol!

SAMSA election 2007

on tuesday, 7/8/07 was samsa election 2007. the election went pretty smoothly and everything was well during the voting day. not many ausmatians are in the hall but naturally i attended the event to support my friends who are running for some of the posts there.

the list of people who are running for the posts

some of the manifesto given by those who are running for the president posts are good and some even sound so ridiculous. but it's pretty obvious who is going to win the post considering the support he/she received during his/her talk. some of the manifesto even turned out to be so funny, fun, cute, and even some turned out to be a total boring spell. and this what we actually do when we felt boring during the manifesto-a quick snap of pics! :)

When life in INTEC gets bored.........

life in intec is not full with sparkles, colours, and rainbows but definitely full with mamak stalls from left to right, annoying cats following you where ever you go, and students rushing into the buses. so, when life in INTEC just get so bored, it's time to unleash your creativity-guess that's what everyone does there. eg : my room mate brought her key board to shah alam...and as for me, it's time to vandalize the wall, table, chairs or anything perhaps... (^_^)

and the list goes on and on and one................................................

Happy Belated Birthday, Shera

Residents on ROOM 1/405 had a surprise for our lovely house mate, Shera last Sunday. We might not suprise her with secret recipe cake or launch a birthday party for her but as the saying goes it is the sincerity that matter most. our plan went smoothly that night and when life in intec gets dull, it's no doubt time to unleash our creativity. Need some proofs?
