Reminisence of 2004-2009

the final countdown to greet 2009 farewell and 2010 welcome.
this is gonna be an extremely long post about me me me. so if you hate this kind of self-obsessed post, do not continue reading. =)
initially, i wanted to move backwards for 14 years but i could not stand staring at the laptop while the pictures are being uploaded. torturing.(5 year old me- 14 years back)
in the end,i was only capable of recalling five years back.
enjoy being obsessed about me. -_-

2004 (Form 3)
retirement from girl guides to rangers.

the actors and actresses. we did a play from our form 3 novel called Buyong. i wonder if you guys still remember the story.

i was the male lead. the beggar who wants to woo the princess. great i still could remember the plot.

FORM 4 (2005)

was in the school malay debate team. the only chinese in the whole competition. miserable.

was once the red indian dancer for the rangers campfire.

prefects camp during probation time.
aww look at those naive faces.

on the way for some school trip.

FORM 5 (2006)

my classmates and i during the modern dance competition.

after we survived through the hong leong run. good kids aren't we, attending meaningless activities like that.

seniors of the prefectorial board photo shot.

those days when we were forced to represent our rumah sukan for netball tournament. noobs like us were the runner up. amazing huh.

after spm, when we had sleepovers at friends houses.

INTEC SEMESTER 1 (2007)

our adventure to one utama, slept for nearly an hour and half in the ktm.

and then we took the courage to travel and stay overnight at bukit bintang.

and even had fun sitting by the roadside while waiting for the never punctual so called rapid kl.

Japanese choir. sang doraemon and bokuwara. still could remember the lyrics but don't ask me to sing again cause i wasn't the best singer there.

my ever loving housemates for one and a half year.

INTEC SEMESTER 2 AND 3 (2008)

My brand new classmates of Canberra.

my lovers back in intec.

my funny funny classmates for a year.
damn i saw my green flats. i miss those flats!!!!!!!!!!

our hostel. we got the brand new block after suffering for six months in a unit that had leakage, water pond at the living room, and dead crows.

random mooncake festival during study week.

japanese festival where i had my worst life embarrassment during the Japanese dance for leaving the stage while the other dancers were bowing.

skating at sunway pyramid with the crazy gang.

japanese film for senior junior night.

btn camp. had a great fun of sharing stories the whole night with buddies the day before the exam. i wonder how did we able to pass those exams.

BRISBANE (2009)

In Brisbane city.

our yummylicious chocolate melting and dipping process.

when i had a fetish over skater boy look

with my close housemates. shopping and gossiping partners.

my 19th birthday celebration with my good friends.

my ever adorable roommate.

and all of the sudden i became the Gold coast expert by concequering four of the theme parks.

in Roma Parklands.

the most awesome steamboat dinner we had.

enjoying the biggest fisherman basket in harbour town.

that's how i was 5 years back and now. i do wish for a better year ahead after learning many things while studying abroad. i am not longer the young kid craving for toys or sweets. i might no be the most fashionable or sought after girl but i enjoyed my life and the way i grew up.
so happy new year people! have a great countdown!

p/s: i am exteremely happy now as my lips have healed after a horrendous food allergy. imagine having the lips of donald duck combine with angelina jolie with cracked skin around. i could smile again!

OMG

i did something ridiculous a minute ago.
i googled my name and encountered the fact the i had a blog under blogdrive, my form 5 blog. omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i always thought i had two blogs only by far but instead there is another rather publicised blog of mine in form 5. so much of googling. from that two old blog of mine, i discovered so many hilarious stuffs about me back then and compiled all the pictures i stumbled upon.

1)My first blog (2005)
  • i adore jesse mccartney, avril lavinge, jessica alba, simple plan and wilber pan so much
  • 2005 has pepsi ice and pespsi fire. i wonder what happened to it now.
  • My cousin brought her gf to my house and she has a nyonya essence??? who the hell is she?? how can i not remember a single thing about that?
  • i complaint about being underage, not able to watch the Alexander movie in cinema and ended up watching polar express.
  • i complaint so many times about being a 'lamp post' among my friends. ( this is so stupid)

2) My second blog (2006)
  • i was a huge fan of Daniel Lee (MI2)
  • i listed ten reasons why daniel lee deserved to be the winner. damn how could i possibly named ten reasons 3 years back when i can't even list one now?
  • i have a fettish over bling bling stuffs.
  • i wrote a lot about my life as a secretary in the prefectorial board.

that's how fat my titi was 3 years back. i told you koo shuk kuan that she shrunk.

those days when we pretended to clean the school for moral folio purposes.

my 16th birthday gifts, full of turtles and green.

my form 4 and form 5 life.

Cuti Cuti Malacca

<span class=
born and breed in Malacca. that's so me.
i headed up to kl two days ago and i did not like the life there. hectic. dirty. noisy. crowded with foreigners. i am blessed to be a malaccan. a proud one in fact because you can't find many malaccans around in university or colleges. that simply makes me more unique than the rest of the crowd.
<span class=
the famous A Famosa fort, flooded with tourists as usual. i passed by that fort everyday since i was a kid as it was located a few blocks away from both my primary and secondary school. honestly, it was just another ordinary building in my eyes. sadly and honestly i am not really a historical person. surprisingly i find it rather nostalgic to be back there again yesterday noon.
<span class=
and i realised that my camera might not have been the best one in the whole world but it behaved pretty excellent yesterday. just look at the amazing architecture of the fort from my camera eyes.
<span class=
up above at the st Paul's hill. i hope it get all these places right or else it would be hell of embarrassment. i haven't been there for ages and had been there nly for rangers activities. yes yes i was a brownie and then a girl guide and then a ranger. learnt all those 'ikatan', forgotten all damn single one. bad ranger i was.
<span class=
that's the ugly proof of me. nerdy rangers.
<span class=
at the peak of the hill, was big blocks of plates and leftover of the destroyed fort. so if you are someone who loves your trip to be immortalized, so do crazy stuffs like i did. everyone does that at there.
<span class=
i meant crazy stuffs like that. jumping into the sky, thousand metres above the sea level.
<span class=
now, tell me you so wanna be on top of hill like us
<span class=
when i was really really young, they used to have real bullock carts around the field. real bulls and real carts. but i guess modernization has taken over. plastic model still isn't that bad. there are many other displays around that area ranging from trains to air planes to ships but we did not went there. we were at the brink of thirst to death that we decided to give up on our Malacca touring. our tour was pretty much less than an hour. guess we are just the lazy explorers.
<span class=
later in the evening, the sweaty four of us watched avatar 3d. paid 17 bucks and it was a crazy ticket hunt because all the tickets were sold when we arrived there and my friends were like so damn 'kiasu' in getting the reserved tickets if they happens to be uncollected. lol. it's great having 'kiasu' friends sometimes. kidding.i adore the efforts you guys put in of course. anyway, one was queuing up in the reservation line and the other was queuing up for like FOUR times at the normal line. crazy aren't we. we must have be really lucky that the reserved tickets were uncollected so in we go to the cinema.
avatar was awesome in the sci-fci way,and because i was watching 3d, it was pretty much like watching a computer game. sadly, the movie did not blew me away as it had predictable plot but it was nice in an acceptable way for me.beautiful colours effects, creative characters, handsome actor, villian doesn't die that easily. worth watching still.
do enjoy Malacca as much as i do.
it is a nice warm place to live in and it breeds high quality people too....muahahahaha.....
consider living in malacca next time.

xoxo,
truly malaccan.
