shen just came back from math and science carnival and in fact today was a freaking freaking hot hot hot day!!!!!! the song no air just suited the whole dry hot atmosphere....perspiring like crazy through out the whole day and i am absolutely glad that finally i am back in my hostel, laying on my cozy bed with great Internet connection and blogging is definitely a must-must too...


alright, that wasn't my main point of blogging today...many of my college mates and friends in malacca have been complaining that i has never really posted about my housemates.....such as thier pictures and how they look like....well, guys here it comes...and trust me, they are seriously they greatest person i ever known and living together with them for nearly half a year is indeed a pleasure and happiness... :)

( gash is my love able roommate, who loves arashi and japanese stuff a lot...at times, she can be emo but when she is crazy, she can really be a crazy person...but something for sure, both of us definitely get along well and i trust her in many things!)

and that's shera, my second housemate...she is the coolest girl i ever known and definitely deeply in love with someone too...she has a strong craze over neopets and definitely loves chocolates a lot..in fact, she is one of those who always have the lastest musics in her laptop!!!

now u know why both of us get along well...we love to cam-whore.. =P

and the only thing that i doesn't like about gash is her eyes..hahaa come on, why are her eyes so big and every time when i took a picture with her, my eyes are totally incomparable, tiny, small!!! uggg.....i hate my eyes...it is even hardly bigger than 1cm..pathetic right?

ahaha just the usual two cam-whorers...

this is my third housemate...she is definitely the cutest girl on earth and also one of those who are deeply in love with someone from her class....she is really good in sharing gossips and stories of her life and as usual, shen is always the good listener to her....

okie, i guess now you guys can really imagine the kind of people i live with and the amount of noise our house always produced..totally indescribable..but we are definitely not the goody goody type or the quiet quiet type..we make a hell of noise and our house is always flooded with visitors like Xiang xiang who will always stay on my bed till 2am, koo shuk kuan who always dropped by my house to steal mentos sweets, melissa who is always down to check out dbsk stories...and the list just goes on and on.....

Fungus on Strepsils

SHEN JUST CONSUMED A ROTTEN STREPSILS!!!
haha..i nearly freaked out the moment i saw the black spots on the other strepsils after swallowing the one i was sucking in my mouth.....
my friends laugh upon my reactions when i asked them will my stomach be a habitat for the fungus to grow and reproduce..will i die? alright, maybe i am a bit paranoid but i am just freaking out....lesson learnt...look at all food first before consuming it..things like these might just happen again.

the power of love

shen simply has a conclusion to make..the month of july is indeed the month of love.....but sadly i wasn't one of them....i have been surrounded by people who are madly in love recently ranging from my housemates to my classmates to my malaccan friends and in fact eveyone around me...and i saw it in my own eyes the power of love....because she is deeply in love with a guy in school, she was willing to give up everything she has in her, from her personality to her dressing style to the way she lives too.....just because of a guy, a person is willing to give her true self up just in oder to be the ideal person the guy dream of......a person who is in love tends to be shy shy shy too... more accurately, the version of shine-shine cat (malu-malu kucing).....haha well, that's according to my observation.. =P.... when someone loves another person, she will always wish to bump into him...be it in classes or cafes or in the library...the moment she laid eyes on him, her eyes leapt with joy and she will start tugging my arm, telling me he is there....the way her eyes lit up tells it all that she was in love.......

and all of the sudden i felt like a matchmaker...the new era of matchmaker..and there was once an old tale which said that matchmakers will not get married usually!!!! wth???? haha..it wasn't my choice to be a matchmaker but it's just that everyone around me been spilling to me about their love stories..perhaps i am someone who can share romance stories with i guess???.....or perhaps i am too lonely that i need some stories from my friends..lol :)

but now, seeing it in my own friends, i am truly amazed with the ultimate power of love, well that's from the girls' side only..for the guys side, perhaps i will learnt it someday later...

well, to my four friends out there who are deeply in love ( 3 in intec and 1 in malacca), may the guy found your heart and may they feel the same for you!!! may you guys be a couple and share all the loves toghether!!! good luck and all the best, dear!

my parents brought me out for shopping when suddenly mummy told me that my old puma sport shoes were cracked and torn....haha guess i was too sick to even noticed that.....

huhuu..my heart leapt with joy!!!!! time for new shoes!! yippeee!!!

well, it wasn't my first choice at first..

but i always trust my parents when it comes to fashion...trust me they are good in it....in fact most of the clothes i wore were chosen by them...

Ausmat Idol

wed, the very first ausmat idol was held...

what shall i comment??

my friends told me that the participants for ausmat idols were way much better than world idol, considering the fact that nearly 80% of the contestants for ausmat idols CAN REALLY sing....

the only disappointment we had that night...as usual caused by the so so so unsupportive juniors...

number of juniors that came for that night??? SIX .....six miserable juniors only...what the hack is wrong with the juniors??? speechless.....speechless..

but to think about it again, perhaps without the juniors coming, the night has been a much much much much better night compared to senior junior night..why?? simply because seniors make the noise!!! seniors are the best crowd for sure!!!!!! even lecturers complimented on how well and supportive the crowd was!!!!!!!

my favourite performances for the day??

a) the double j's performance was great and memorable, john and jason sang the song wherever you will go by the calling..............

b) daniel's performance was mesmerizing too...he is definitely one of the minor juniors who are really cool and supportive of the seniors... he sang you and me by lifehouse....haha he definitely melted one of the seniors there....*********..haha not telling who izzit!!!

c) najwa from wellington......she sounded so similar to siti nurhaliza...

d) kk,hahaa definitely has the sweetest voice on earth, sang teardrops on my guitar by taylor swift...

e) sim mee and anderson performances were really a great combo too.....

f) sharon's voice was huge and superb...and she definitely looked hot on stage!! sizzling!!!

g) well, nobody could ever forget the SPECTACULAR performances by Kumeran and Kartik....great voice, great falsetto, great pitch, and everything was perfect!!! bravo to them!!

I need some sunshine in my life.

i seriously need some sunshine in my life right now..

the last whole week has been a hard one..

starting with a pack schedule, rushing here and there just to practice performances for juniors, having dinners very late at bout 12am most of the days, starving myself in order to complete the whole filming thingy and now i am totally torn down to pieces....

and i totally lost my interest in many things...

firstly, i want to say sorry to my housemates for making them worried sick seeing me running to and fro from the toilet to the room, vomiting in the toilet and seeing me bed-ridden most of the time..i am really glad that you guys are there for me and i am really sorry if my illness interrupted you guys....

secondly, the moment i fell sick i realised how worried was my family especially my mum... i am really sorry for calling you at 3am but i was really panicked at that moment and was hoping that you were there by my side to console me that i am gonna be fine....i promise i will take care of myself and i promise i will not make you worry anymore.... thanks to uncle jovie too for taking a leave from his work to send me to the clinic and accompany me to school.... thanks a lot for being so concern and your concern has definitely make me realised family bonds are the ultimate thing in my life...

thirdly, i was grateful that i have a whole bunch of friends by my side through my whole ordeal ... my canberra classmates ( carolyn, connie, christina, victor and the rest) thanks a lot for looking after me while i was sleeping in class...and to my close friends, xiang xiang, mary anne and koo,thanks a lot for being so worried of me, rushing from floor to floor to find the so called 'cangkul' medicine and reminding gash on how to feed me the medicine...you guys seriously make me realized that having friends like you guys by my side enlightened my gloomy day...

for those who didn't know what happened to me,....well, i was down with severe food poisoning and a bloated tummy several days ago and the after effect was horrendous..... i practically vomited 5 times, everything that i consumed came out again..to make matter worse, the water i drank was even vomited out..... due to my unwell tummy, i was unable to sleep the whole night and had a terrible headache..... i lost my appetite on food and the doctor told me that i can only eat plain bread till i am really well..... i wasn't allowed to drink milo too and was only allowed to eat porridge by most....

after three days have passed, i recovered from my illness but somehow i don't find interest on food anymore....and on most of the food i see, i fear that history will always repeat itself......and now, i guess old hungry shen is gone replaced by someone who is unlikely to enjoy eating anymore..

Life isn't a bed of roses

here comes the revelation of emo shen....
last week, was rather a tiring week but at least i wasn't down and i was indeed in a tip-top condition..
but this week,the beginning doesn't seem satisfactory and eventually my health's start to deteriorate tremendously...
yesterday, while i was gluing my shoes, i accidentally glued four of my fingers together and the index finger on my left hand was glued onto the glue cylinder. i screamed. two of my housemates, Shera and Sandy rushed towards the sofa seeing my fingers glued together.. at that moment, i was so afraid and i thought i might even ended up walking all the way to the clinic with a bottle of glue hanging on my finger and 4 of my fingers glued together. they immediately rushed me to the sink and tonnes of water rushed through my poor fingers.. at first, it still remained glued together. i panicked but eventually the glue started to melt and i spent nearly an hour separating my fingers, peeling the hardened scraps of glues and cleaning my nails too.... it was a nightmare for sure but something for sure,
I WILL NEVER REPAIR MY SHOES AGAIN!!
I WILL NEVER USE SUPER GLUE WITH BARE HANDS AGAIN!!
lesson learnt.
and today, it was a disastrous day..... i had the worst tummy upset after having my dinner in Baker's Cottage and in fact i could my tummy growling through out the whole night.... i could feel the spaghetti i eaten remained in the middle of my throat and my tummmy was bloated. i felt tremendously uncomfortable. i called my mum, feeling worried about my condition.
the moment the call ended i dashed towards the toilet...
and VOMITTED OUT EVERYTHING.....
after nearly 4 hours of uneasiness in my tummy, finally i felt relieved.
i made my housemates worried once again....they were wondering if i were alright upon seeing me vomitting in the toilet.....and all i could do was to reply them with a smile....
it's only ten by the moment..but most probably i will be sleeping soon considering the disturbance i am having in my tummy..
i am truly upset..
and i need someone to cheer me up and to tell me that everything is gonna be fine.

Bon Odori Festival 2008

my first time working as a volunteer in such a grand international event and i simply enjoyed working even though our jobs were rather repetitive and boring....we arrived at the Panasonic sports complex stadium as early as 2pm but we were only attended about an hour later but it doesn't really matter cause the whole place was pretty cool, with stalls setting up, Japanese music blaring at one corner and thank goodness it wasn't really a hot humid day in fact it was too windy....at bout 4, we had our free lunch- a whole sushi set...man, it was delicious not only because it was free but simply because we actually have 5 to 6 different sushi in one meal..isn't that's cool? eventually, we started working by counting and rearranging the uchiwas (Japanese well-known fans)...at 5, we are assigned to be the door girls and boys distributing the fans to the incoming visitors........it was pretty fun when we can actually observed different kind of people coming to the stadium ranging from Japanese families to school kids to Japanese reporters to some pretty 'ah beng's and 'ah lian's group to my old malacca friends who scream my name 'siok' from far and last but not least, our very own intec clans.... even though we missed the opening performance by the HOT SIZZLING Japanese guys, we are still able to maximise our fun and join the last dance in the stadium..btw, i have been really naughty that night and i wanna say sorry to her..i promise i won't be that naughty anymore.... shen has commited a crime.
